Thaïsa Way is an urban landscape historian with a focus on the histories of built environments, exploring human relationships to landscape and place, and the role of design in shaping our existence. Her research engages with narratives of our built environments, spanning from the intentional design of landscapes to the urbanization process and the history of the landscape architecture profession. She is particularly interested in how designed landscapes shape our lives and how design can foster civil society and sustainable life habits.
