About

Our lab is located in the Department of Human Genetics at University of Chicago. We are interested in understanding the genetic basis of complex human diseases. We focus on identifying genetic variants that influence disease susceptibility and the mechanisms linking genetic changes to phenotypic consequences. We are broadly interested in how regulatory sequences in the genomes interact with cellular environments to determine gene expression, and we develop and employ computational and statistical tools to address these challenges.
