Satish Chitneni is an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago in the Department of Radiology-Basic Sciences. His research primarily focuses on developing molecularly targeted radiotracers for noninvasive imaging of various diseases and disease-related biomarkers using positron emission tomography (PET). He works on radiolabeling small molecules, peptides, and antibodies with radionuclides such as fluorine-18, radioiodines, and zirconium-89 to create imaging agents that can be used in diagnosis, treatment, and drug development.
