Mario Romero-Ortega is the head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Arizona. He has served as Cullen Endowed Professor and director of the undergraduate program in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, as well as a joint faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Tilman Fertitta J. Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston.
