Dr. Marina Patricia Field is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in Social-Organizational Psychology with a focus on leadership and gender issues in the workplace. She joined the program as a full-time lecturer in January 2020, after working as an adjunct instructor, and works closely with the Office of Career Education & Professional Development to support students' career development and to facilitate connections with companies. Dr. Field holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of her academic role, she is an experienced HR professional with a background in leadership development, change management, performance management strategy, and talent management, having held management and consulting positions at firms such as PwC, Pfizer, American Express, and the Port Authority of NY and NJ. She is also an adjunct at Northwestern University, advising students on Capstone projects for the M.S. in Learning and Organizational Change. Dr. Field is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (SIOP).
