About
How does an organism defend their genome against foreign nucleic acids, such as transposons or viruses? How are germ granules assembled and organized? What are the biological functions of germ granules? How dysfunction of small RNA pathways causes infertility? We think C. elegans is an outstanding model organism to study these questions due to their diverse small RNA pathways, great gene-editing tools available, and these animals are transparent!
