Professor Harriet de Wit directs the Human Behavioral Pharmacology Laboratory (HBPL), which focuses on investigating the effects of psychoactive drugs in human volunteers. The laboratory studies the determinants and consequences of drug use by measuring the drugs' effects on physiology, behavior, and subjective state.
