Daniel L. Gillen

Daniel L. Gillen is a Chancellor's Professor and Chair of the Department of Statistics at UC Irvine, with additional appointments in Epidemiology and Biostatistics within the School of Population & Public Health. His research focuses on the development of statistical methodology for censored survival data, group sequential methods for the design and analysis of clinical trials, and the analysis of longitudinal data. His work is motivated by applications across various clinical disciplines, aiming to improve statistical approaches in medical research.
