Beth Fields is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a board-certified occupational therapist. Her research focuses on developing, testing, and implementing person and family-centered assessments and interventions in hospital and home settings. She is passionate about improving the quality of care and life for aging adults and their family or friend care partners. Fields has a background in occupational therapy from Colorado State University and the University of Pittsburgh, including postdoctoral training. Her work includes advancing the science and practice of community-based services, caregiving, and aging-in-place, with a particular interest in geriatric health services and caregiving research.
