About

Yadira Soto-Feliciano is a Howard S. (1953) and Linda B. Stern Career Development Professor and Intramural Faculty member at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. She studies chromatin and epigenetic regulation in normal development and cancer. Her research aims to understand how post-translational modifications to chromatin components and the factors regulating these modifications play essential roles in maintaining cellular, tissue, and organismal integrity. She employs a combination of functional genomics, biochemical, genetic, and epigenomic approaches to investigate how chromatin and epigenetic factors decode the chemical language of chromatin and how these processes are dysregulated in diseases such as cancer.
