Vladimir Volpert is a Professor of Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics at Northwestern University, affiliated with the McCormick School of Engineering. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the USSR Academy of Sciences in Russia, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Mechanics from Moscow State University.
