Stephen Adams is an Assistant Instructional Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His areas of interest and research include Reductive Monoids, Combinatorics, and Geometry. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from North Carolina State University, earned in 2014, and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the same institution, completed in 2011. Additionally, he has a Master of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University, obtained in 2007, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Florida State University, completed in 2006. His academic background and research focus reflect a strong foundation in mathematical sciences and economics, contributing to his role as an educator and researcher in his department.
