  • Designing work for healthy sleep: A multidimensional, latent transition approach to employee sleep health.

Journal of Occupational Health Psychology · 2024-12-01 · 5 citations

    articleOpen access

Healthy sleep is essential to employee well-being and productivity, but many modern workers do not obtain adequate sleep. Are technology-related changes to job design (i.e., computer use, sedentary work, nontraditional work schedules) related to long-term worsening of employee sleep health? The present study seeks to address this question using nationally representative data from the Midlife in the United States study, which includes detailed information on sleep duration, regularity, sleep onse…

  • Associations of KLOTHO-VS heterozygosity and α-Klotho protein with cerebrospinal fluid Alzheimer's disease biomarkers

    Journal of Alzheimer s Disease · 2025-03-20 · 4 citations

    articleOpen access

Background KLOTHO -VS heterozygosity ( KL -VSHET) and soluble α-Klotho (sαKl) protein interfere with Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathophysiology, but the specific relationships remain unclear. This study explored these associations across the AD continuum, focusing on core AD biomarkers and markers of neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, and synaptic dysfunction. Objective We investigated whether 1) KL -VSHET is associated with lower AD biomarker burden (Aβ 42 , Aβ 42/40 ratio, P-tau181, T-tau) an…

  • Differential MRI atrophy profiles and incident dementia: A cross-national comparison

    Journal of Alzheimer s Disease · 2025-09-03 · 1 citations

    articleOpen access

Background Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder with extensive neuropathological and clinical heterogeneity. Objective We assessed empirically derived brain atrophy profiles in relation to incident AD dementia. Methods A secondary data analysis of two prospective cohort studies was conducted, including participants without dementia from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI; n = 1703) and the Czech Brain Aging Study (CBAS; n = 385). Latent profile…
