Robert M. Brown is Professor Emeritus from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Virginia Tech. Prior to his retirement in 2015, he held the position of Doug Curling Professor of Accounting and Information Systems. During his tenure on the faculty, he served as Head of the Department for eight years. Currently, he is the Manager of Alumni Relations for the department and teaches courses as an adjunct professor. His educational background includes a Ph.D. from Georgia State with a specialization in Managerial Accounting.
