John Duffy is the Dumbarton Oaks Professor of Byzantine Philology and Literature at Harvard University. He is associated with the Committee on the Study of Religion and is based at Harvard Divinity School, located in the Barker Center, Suite 302 in Cambridge, MA. His academic focus includes Byzantine studies, with a particular emphasis on Byzantine philology and literature. As a faculty member, he contributes to the university's programs and research initiatives related to religious studies and Byzantine history.
