Dr. Bo Xie received her PhD in Science and Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, her MS in Psychology from Peking University, and her B.Med.Sci. from the West China University of Medical Sciences in Chengdu, China. Her research and teaching over the years have focused on health, technology, and aging. Her current work concentrates on artificial intelligence applications in nursing and healthcare. She holds a joint appointment in the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin.
